CONTACT SIMPLY WINES
Established in 2009, SIMPLY WINES has been searching the world over for hard to find wines.
Being Victorian, we do have a soft spot for regions like the Yarra Valley, Beechworth, Gippsland, Mornington Peninsula and Geelong. We still love classic South Australian Shiraz from the Clare Valley, Barossa, McLaren Vale and Coonawarra, and who can pass up some of the most prestigious wines in Australia from Margaret River in Western Australia. Not forgetting Tasmania with the superb Pinot Noir and Riesling. Let's also mention the Hunter Valley and Canberra wine regions.
Yes, it's obvious SIMPLY WINES loves fine wine.
We love nothing better than sitting with friends, glass in hand, sharing the experience of a newly opened bottle and the memories of the time and place. Service is our mark and we pride ourselves on it, our customers are important to us.
Are you searching for a curated wine service, one where you'll be taken on a journey enjoying the best wine on the planet! A personalised service catered to your palate. For more information drop us a message.
I am the Managing Director of SIMPLY WINES which was established in 2009. The development of Instagram, @simply.wines which has now exceeded 89,000 followers and features a wide variety of wines from all over the world, has been a great way to connect with like minded people.
To gain an appreciation of what people experience in their own countries and to be able, on some of my visits, to share some premium Australian brands with them, has been a great adventure.
I haven’t disclosed my identity on Instagram, but have had much fun experimenting with unorthodox methods to Sabrage Champagne, way beyond the traditional French sword, and I showcase Australian Wine in unique and beautiful settings, using bespoke hand blown glassware, pouring wine into vintage and artistic decanters.
SIMPLY WINES is the exclusive importer of Grassl Glass to Australia, a range of fine mouth blown glassware designed in Switzerland. We stock a small range of high-quality boutique wine, usually where quantities are too small for the big outlets.
In 2020 I worked the harvest at Mount Mary in March to further gain an insight from vine to bottle. My aim is to build an active wine community and support it via
SIMPLY WINES, with a passion for providing knowledge and services to customers, through meaningful personal relationships.
I have to say, the friends I’ve made through wine and IG have been a fantastic bonus, getting to share great wine with wonderful people, what could be better than that.
